Our signature all-cotton interlock Luxe is incredibly soft & silky. but its ingenuity is its ability to stretch without spandex. This is called mechanical stretch, achieved by the meticulously designed structure of the yarns. The fabric is washed before it's cut and sewn, an uncommon but very beneficial step. It minimizes shrinking over time (when following care instructions) and also prevents puckering and twisting around seams that often happens in your dryer when sewing threads shrink but fabric doesn't. Luxe fabric is used on many of our dresses, our all-cotton leggings, and in our most luxurious t-shirts. True investment-quality fabric!

"I really like the v-neck shape and stitching of the neckline. They should make this same v-neck luxe shirt in a short sleeve or a long sleeve. The fabric is great. I did not love the sleeves. They are wide and baggy, especially in proportion to the sizing of the body. If you have thicker arms, it might be better for you. I bought a size Small in Black."

"I bought this in eggplant and when that arrived, I came back here to order it in undyed. I like everything about this shirt. I am always frustrated that women's shirts often feel "disposable" due to thin fabric. So the nice thickness of FI's luxe fabric brought me back here to buy more. Being an apple shape, I often struggle to feel good about the fit of things and the neckline and sleeve length on this shirt just feel somehow flattering to me. That said, I originally bought this to go with the "Double Knit Luxe Cargo Trousers. " That was not a good combination for me due to carrying all of my weight around my waist. So I wear this with pants that provide a little shaping in the waist area."

"I love the fabric, the beautiful purple color and the v neck--I wish it were 1 inch longer but it is ok. I took off 1 star though because of the underarm seams being too big--I know this is a trend with many clothing companies in last couple of years--i call it the batwing sleeves! I hope you will consider re designing these to have proper fitting underarm seams. I learned to sew as a child in 4H--we would have not gotten a blue ribbon with seams like this!"
